Second year student with a passion for discovery, stewardship, and innovation.
HI. I'M JOEY.
I'm a student and entrepreneur with a passion for discovery, stewardship, and innovation. I am on a quest to visit every country in the world to expand my horizons, while fueling my curiosity of how others foster change in the world. I'm also actively involved in Greek life and proud to be the health advocate for my fraternity. I'm actively exploring a double-major and I'm on track to graduate a year early.
As a current student of the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota, I am studying International Business, Marketing and Entrepreneurship.
Case Study in Cuba
In the spring of 2016, I went to Cuba to observe the interaction between entrepreneurs and the Cuban government's regulations. I also studied the racial atmosphere on the island... determining the level of racism and segregation in Cuba. This case study was the first of its kind through the Carlson School of Business.
During my sophomore year in high school, my class and I traveled to Europe to experience the cultures of England, Germany, and France. Returning from that trip solidified my desire to visit as many countries as possible to witness first-hand the diversity and intrigue of varying cultures and the rich history of so many countries I've studied throughout my academics.
